Ball bearings

Ball bearings use steel balls as rolling elements between the inner ring and the outer ring. Ideal for high speeds and moderate loads, they are available in deep groove variants (6000/16000/6200/6300 series), angular contact (7000) and thrust (51000) types. Bore diameters from 3 to 320 mm, ZZ or 2RS sealing.

About Ball Bearings

The ball bearing is the most widely used rolling element in general mechanical engineering. Its design offers the best compromise between limiting speed (up to 1,000,000 dmN depending on the series), low noise and cost. Three main families dominate.

Single-row deep groove ball bearings (6000, 6200, 6300, 6400, 16000 series) absorb radial loads and light axial loads in both directions. The ZZ (steel shields) and 2RS (rubber contact seals) variants incorporate lifetime grease and eliminate the need for an additional seal. The open variants accept high temperatures and oil lubrication.

Angular contact ball bearings (7000, 7200, 7300 series) support significant axial loads in one direction and are generally mounted in pairs in O, X or Tandem arrangement according to the load diagram. Adjustable preload for high-precision spindles.

Single-direction (51000 series) or double-direction (52000) thrust ball bearings handle axial forces only. Limited speed compared to radial bearings.

For AISI 440C stainless steel or hybrid ceramic variants (Si₃N₄ balls), please request a quotation. Compatible with all ISO 15 manufacturers: SKF, FAG, NSK, NTN, KOYO, TIMKEN, ZKL.
